We talk about his beginnings in kicks - heavily influenced by Hip Hop and Street culture - he shares an amazing story of the lengths he went to cop his first pair of Air Max 90 and how he sent his friend at the age of 11 to the UK from Holland to cop Infrareds and what his boy came back with.We dive into Matthijs’ collection where he has a lot of love for Nike Air Max 1s, New Balance 997s plus he shares stories of some of the most amazing stories of getting some legendary kicks for literal peanuts including the Jordan 1 BREDs 😳.Matthijs also explains the origins of Sneakerness and how he came to be involved in the venture and contributed to it becoming the largest sneaker convention in Europe. We also got into some quick fires and she explained what kicks he’d have with him if stranded on a desert island.Lastly we talk about what being a sneakerhead means to him.
