  • 088: Information is POWER; A Conversation on Gun Violence and Criminal Justice Reform with Guest, Sara Knizhnik

"It may not seem like it, but we are winning on gun violence prevention!"

Long-time Illinois-based gun violence and criminal justice reform advocate, Sara Knizhnik, helps equip us with helpful, hopeful information around one of the hottest topics in our nation: gun violence.
We will never end the gun violence epidemic in America until we recognize that if a child on the south side of Chicago is not safe, then a child in an affluent community is not safe - because all gun violence is related. So, we must address the acute problem of gun violence that happens every day while simultaneously addressing its root causes - especially by addressing the inequities in the criminal justice system.

Listen in and learn how to be proactive in your immediate community and collaborate with others who desire a safer world physically and emotionally. We can do this!
