In this episode I reflect and give my 2 cents on communication vs. comprehension. there's a difference people! I got the topic from and fb/ig post floating around. there are other tidbits here as well!

"You can't heal in a toxic environment" Have you ever heard of that? well it's true! It's a small yet powerful statement. Whatever you're working on or trying to change has to start with the environment you are in physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The most challenging part about changing your environment is asking yourself if you want to stay in your toxic comfort zone or if you want to change for the better. it's possible with baby steps and time.

There seems to be a lot of opinions on what exactly is destorying the black community. Some think it's deadbeat dads. Others think it's the lgbtq community and our "gay agenda". Then there's domestics violence, toxic masculinity, money, cheating, the black church, family secret including rape and molestation, drug addictions, and more. I don't we could pinpoint it to just one area or topic.

Boundaries! Lines crossed! Giving people an inch and they go on 5k's!! Stop it! Let these people know where your lines are and let them know when they've crossed that boundary/line!

I wanted my first podcast to reflect the theme of me and my podcast. I believe in constant growth, and that's the journey I'm on now....in the midst of trying to be an adult! So let's grow, glow, and pay these bills!
