Welcome Back, everyone! To my neverending mess. Don't worry this is a happier episode. I am happy to be feeling better and sharing all of that with you all my loyal listeners! So much has happened and so much is changing so grab your strap-ons...I mean your backpacks and seatbelts and hold on tight because it's time to get back to it!

Oh hey there! Welcome back to my podcast!  Time for more of the mess - but let's start off nice and easy and remember why we are here....for me!  I am joined by my best friend, servant, and guest host Carolyn today! We are discussing a bunch of stuff but same format. You know the drill, so take a listen!

This is going to be brief because I don't want to dwell in that room for long - this episode, this mini-episode is about grief, my grief, your grief, and how we shouldn't be ashamed of grief and how it's okay to not know what to do with it.  Nobody wins when hearts are broken and secrets are kept at the expense of others, nobody wins when people are in pain and there are innocent lives on the line.  Be respectful and be understanding.

Welcome to 2022 - everybody come in and don't touch anything!  After the terrible year of 2021 - for me - I am back with my podcast and some more mess.  This year we are back to living intentionally and effectively. We are giving ourselves space to mess up and fess up and all those things while still knowing the world moves forward and so will we. I love how I am building support systems and removing people that are causing me to feel negative about myself unnecessarily. Girls - we are living in luxury and self-care. We are not only writing down our goals but we are establishing plans and solutions on how to achieve them.  Take a listen to this week's introductory podcast episodes as I lube you up and slide myself back into your life!

Hi, I can't be as transparent as I want to be, I am not ready, and things are still ongoing so I can't give specific names or details.  But I wanted to bleed my heart out a little - because this podcast is for me to use as an outlet for the emotions that overwhelm me. Y'all want some mess? Welcome to my love life - it is like open season out here with exes popping up left and right.  It's like after a lioness gives birth and they can smell her ready to be rebred again.  News Flash: I am not in heat so where are y'all coming from?  So let's talk about it - some things in this episode are in reference to past episodes so if you want to understand some of the mess...or umm nicknames like the shitty booty one you're going to have to check out past episodes.  This time I'm joined by two of my friends that know my exes...at least from a distance since Carolyn wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole.  Take a listen and enjoy a little bit of a more lighthearted episode this week.

Okay, if you don't know what code-switching is or you weren't born into the cookout invite then this episode is not for you.  As they say, this is for the niggas, strictly for the niggas.  If you are not one of those, you are a guest (an uninvited one that didn't even bring no sodas nor paper plates).  For the rest of y'all - WELCOME MY PEOPLE!  Today we are going to be blackity black and talk about black stuff.  Specifically we are discussing things like stereotypes and when we fell into our blackness; this episode made me cry a bit and we ALL know I'm not an emotional girl (insert sarcastic face here). Grab y'all some chicken, potatoes salad, a lil cornbread, couple pieces of ham, and a slice of peach cobbler (again if you do not know that reference this episode is not for you)  and cop a squat because we get a little deep in our roots here with my wonderful and beautiful guest host, Chantel.  This episode is about celebrating that we are not a monolith but that we are all rising up on the same black ass hands that came on ships hundreds of years ago forced to live in this country and through it all survived so I could sit here and tell you about it.  I hope you enjoy this episode in the name of my ancestors and yours.

In this episode, I am joined by my wonderful friend Josh!  We get political, just a little, more like a grand scheme of things overview.  We are talking about the law, the state of this country, I yell about white people and Josh tolerates it all (as he should since he is a white man).  We also cover some cool stuff we are watching and songs to sing along to.  I promise this episode isn't a trauma dump but we do cover our own experiences with the political machines of our lives and I touch on some recent experiences and my thoughts on the treatment of Black people with the police.  So sit down and take a listen (it's a long one but it goes fast - kind of like some of my exes).
