Lore Boys here with some more special Halloween lore, so last week's mature content warning is STILL in effect. This week we're talking about Harlan Ellison's 1967 Short Story, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, and the game written and voiced by the author!
It's a horrible post-apocalyptic world where a Facebook super-computer has taken over everything and is keeping people alive with their eyes peeled to the timeline... or maybe that's just my personal hell.
Ethan creates a hurricane, Peter goes for a walk to cool off, and James meets Mothman.
If you liked this episode about a book, consider some of these other episodes:
Lord of the Rings: Top Bunk in a Room with No Beds
Lord of the Rings: Outsourcing to the Elves
Starship Troopers: Heil with a Handbag
Of course, if you liked the episode, we’d love to hear from you guys, so check out our Discord, our Twitter, our Facebook, and our Instagram. If you wanted to do us a huge favour, please take a minute to leave us a review on iTunes — it’s the number one way we might find new listeners and we will read your review on air!
