Also the story of OJ is one of my favorite songs ever but I don't think I could ever put that in a podcast episode for obvious reasons. I'm also listening to David Lynch's audiobook room to dream which is kind of fun hearing him talk about jerking off. Any way....

Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when THE SEVEN STAGES OF GRIEF came out in '21, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole podcast has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. Eric's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think He has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

I Don't know what the heck this even is I found it in my uncle's aunt's grandma's cousin's old abandoned creepy mansion deep in The heart of Transylvania. Definitely some spooky shitc for sure though. And does that last song sung by the guy from MANDY? that's pretty neat.

It's very amateurish but I'm still quite pleased with how the same song came out. If you think you can make a better one by all means I encourage you to do so.
