  • Nazia Siddiqui from Transcend fashion - sustainable masks hand made in India... and now, a clothing line!

You can find Nazia at https://weartranscend.com/

Nazia Siddiqui is the founder and CEO of Transcend, a women’s fashion brand focused on art, ethics and sustainability. Transcend’s first collection of ready-to-wear clothing has launched and features meticulous hand embroidery and prints on natural fabrics in happy, vibrant colors. Did we mention Transcend dresses have pockets?

Nazia has 14 years of corporate business experience at Fortune 500 companies where she has developed an expertise in improving business processes to result in a good foundation that companies can thrive on. In her personal life, Nazia has been passionate about textile art since her childhood and believes that embroidery and print have the power to transform any outfit. Sadly, it is near impossible to find high quality hand embroidery and prints in the US and other western fashion markets, unless someone is willing to spend thousands of dollars on a couture piece. With Transcend, Nazia is combining ancient textile art with modern silhouettes to bring unique, thoughtful and timeless pieces that you would want to wear again and again.

  • Cindy Gross - dragons, sexism, inclusivity and Wonder Woman costumes

Cindy Gross partners with leaders to move you from learning to action on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Harassment. #BlackLivesMatter #MeToo

This episode made me cry. Find Cindy at https://befriendingdragons.com

Befriending Dragons | Intersectional Transformative Coaching: Reframe, Unblock, Move Forward

Anti-Racism - From Learning to Action. Workshops + Coaching

Reframe and Befriend Your Dragons in 2021 - 25% off January 2021 coaching sessions

    Cindy’s story:

I’ve met many scary dragons in my life – breast cancer, divorce, a layoff, changing roles and technologies, workplace harassment as a Microsoft woman in tech, fighting for LGBTQ+ and abortion rights in Idaho, constant striving to meet an impossible to meet bar for success, and the idea that we always have to put work first. Most recently I left the corporate world to strike out on my own, into a rich community filled with people like me who create justice, meaning, allies, and dreams. Each time I step back and look at the situation from different angles to get through it. I befriend each dragon, learn how to make it a part of my past, and take only the parts I want forward to the next stage of my life. That’s what befriending dragons is all about – take those scary things and blend the best parts into our lives. Then we can respond in the way we each need, the way that takes us down the path we want.
