The reaction some people had to Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka was just another reminder that, as Black women, we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. If the top athletes in the world are taking a step back for their mental health, then the rest of us should too and we aren't apologizing for putting ourselves first anymore. PERIOD.
