ILB is back in the studio, but still has stories from their road trip. An afternoon at a winery necessitated an impromptu visit to a brewery located right in the middle of wine country, Paso Robles. There the Jeffs meet Steve Stewart, a San Diego brewing veteran who has opened up Kilokilo Brewing: a magical place. Stewart takes big, bold risks with his beer flavors--no holds barred! Jeff and Jeff hook up the travel trailers and head north on their annual pilgrimage to the Central Coast. Rain could not stop them from finding new breweries and revisiting a few favorites. They meet up with Dylan Riddick, owner and brewer at Oak and Otter for lunch. Then they crash unannounced into Humdinger Brewing where co-owner Justin Amy was happy to share his story. And there's no better way to end a very wet day than Bang the Drum Brewing for beer, pot pies and fresh baked cookies. The San Luis Obispo beer scene is hoppin!

Margaritas and Mai Tais on I Like Beer the Podcast? Producer Joe has taken Jeff and Jeff out of their comfort zones with this week's in-studio guest. James Murray, co-founder of !mprov Non-Booze Cocktails, impresses the ILB Team with his craft cocktails. Not to worry, the Jeffs find a way to turn the conversation back to beer. Murray's extensive time and expertise in the craft beer industry has prepared him to be a master of the mocktail. 

Sticking to their New Year's resolutions, the ILB team is supporting their local breweries. The Doctor joins Jeff and Jeff back on a field trip to Blue Fire Brewing in San Marcos. Blue Fire is the very definition of a family-owned, local brewery. Tommy Gordon, brewer and co-owner of Blue Fire, tells a few beer stories while going over the Blue Fire line up. Things get a little crazy once Gordon brings up Sili-Saturdays. Drink local and support local!
