Jesus' Resurrection and Life - I AM - scripture in The Gospel of John, Chapter 11, verses 21 -27 answers THE question:

Do they really know who I am? 

In other words: Does all of humanity… since the time of Jesus’ apostles, people now … do we… UNDERSTAND WHO JESUS IS and why He is utterly the beginning and the end, in Greek … the Alpha and the Omega and nothing else in THE WORLD is more important?

Let us consider this setting of a conversation involving questions and answers between Jesus and a woman named, Martha to give us more discernment of who Jesus was and is!

The faith journey is not for the faint of heart. Walking in faith - (an Old Testament phrase for how to live one’s life) - is a deeply personal experience with the living God ... and/but also requires community. 

Discipleship and the development of biblical wisdom rarely occur in a vacuum … and lasting marriages,  solid parenting, and healthy relationships with extended family and friends need God as the glue to thrive! 

One thing which drove me back to view the movie, The Forge - three times - was the lack of goofy cinematography of the look of the film. Praise God that Christian films look like real films now. This is a petty statement I know, but God bless the Kendrick brothers for their extreme skills and the beautiful talents of the actors in this film …  and God bless all ticket buyers in recent years for attending the growing numbers of available Christian movies at the cinemas.

Go see this terrific film ... you won't be sorry you did!

Living like a Christian as defined in God's Holy Word is rewarding now and forever. Perhaps one of the greatest challenges in this choice is to live with joy rooted in the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ's warrior death on His crucifixion cross.

"May the joy of the Lord be your strength," are the inspired words the prophet Nehemiah shares at Chapter 8, verse 10. No matter where one lives or one's age, God is available and longing for us to invite Him in our hearts to dwell. When we are at home in Christ - in community with others who welcome Him - joy can be found, like no other place on earth.
