💼 We just launched our Economic Development One Stop Shop — a powerful new tool on the City’s website that makes it easier than ever to start or grow a business in Shreveport. From permits to site selection, everything you need is just a few clicks away!

🚓 On the public safety front, we’ve awarded the bid for the new SPD North Market Substation, and the Monkhouse Substation is nearly complete. These modern facilities will enhance community policing and support our officers in the field.

🏆 And how about all the WINNING in Shreveport lately?!🍽️ Chef Niema DiGrazia just beat Bobby Flay on national TV!⚾ The LSUS Pilots went 59-0 and took home the NAIA World Series championship!

🏗️ We’re kicking off major progress on projects funded by the 2024 Bond Proposal — including renovations to the Police and Fire Academy and key infrastructure improvements across the city. Design teams are in place, and construction will begin within the year!

🏚️ A new ordinance is targeting blight downtown: the Vacant Property Registration Ordinance (VPRO) will help hold property owners accountable and protect the health, safety, and future of our city’s historic core.
