Landon and Michael are not divided on this episode as they talk normal Avatar responsibility, a pointless feud, and canyon crossing economics (or lack thereof).

Landon and Michael review what it means to be a resistance fighter in a 100 year war and how far is too far in stopping the fire nation. Also yes, they agree Jet is very charming.

So... Michael goes off on a cabbage salesman rant again and Landon lets him, so he's complicit in this too. All the while talking about the trouble 1 scroll caused.

Landon and Michael talk about what drives our characters this episode, Avatar Roku, and the looming deadline of Sozin's Comet. Also, Michael finally questions Appa's ability to fly.

Michael is surprised to see the Avatar has Spirit World connections, but is mostly focused on how cool Iroh is this episode. (He's not wrong). Landon then brings up Avatar Roku's connection to his statue and how it makes since in the overall story and world. Also they forget to mention Aang discovering that he cant bend elements in the Spirit World. (Maybe next time)

Landon and Michael discover the city of Omashu. The king proves to be a fun new character, Aang and company have some fun (among other things), and the cabbage salesman sends Michael into a conspiracy frenzy.

Landon and Michael discuss Aang's realization of what it means to be the Avatar in a world at war, while Sokka shows great character growth. Also, Michael is *somehow* not impressed with Aang's marble trick.

Landon and Michael redo their episode structure after just one episode, but its for the best, trust me... I think. Meanwhile Michael talks about what a cool dude Iroh is, and Landon tries to understand the connection Avatars seem to have with statues for some reason.

In a podcasting first, Michael is introduced to Avatar: The Last Air Bender. While Landon struggles to not spoil future plots for him, Michael discovers the potential of the show as they discuss the first two episodes.
