Our society should be filled with peace and happiness, given what we all go through individually it's almost impossible to achieve such fantasy. I believe something can be done or maybe we try to do something. We must identify the problem before we decide on how to work on it. One of the problems is Trauma. Trauma is an emotional response to a terrible event like an accident, rape, or natural disaster. Immediately after the event, shock and denial are typical. Longer-term reactions include unpredictable emotions, flashbacks, strained relationships, and even physical symptoms like headaches or nausea. In this episode, you'll be listening to myself and a friend (Labake) talk about what trauma is, how to identify, and things to do about it.
