Recently I've pivoted heavily in running my pool service business. I listed a massive route for sale. I was planning to scale down my days to 1 to 3 per week. I was planning to pursue new projects. I'm 2.75 years in and I could see this is not going where I wanted it to go. So I said I'd still keep going but I'm going to start really going after new things, but I'd still kind of be around. But Deep down what I was really saying was that I was quitting. I knew it, and I wasn't being honest. Last night I confronted myself, and did some soul searching. Here's what I concluded about quitting after all this time in.
