In Southern California Track and Field there singular names that stand alone: Henry Thomas, Bryshon Nellum, Quincy Watts, German Fernandez, OBEA MOORE!!!!! Before Kobe (RIP) there was OBEA OBEA!!!! Before Snoop named DeAnthony Thomas The Black Mamba OBEA MOORE was causing fear, pain, and sleepless nights on tracks across this nation.   We sit down today and talk about old times, great moments and what is on the horizon!!!! Please welcome Pasadena Sports Hall of Fame, Penn Relays Hall of Fame Inductee OBEA MOORE!!!!

September 3, 1868 Henry McNeal Turner a newly elected state representative in Georgia took the floor to address the legislature.  In a single motion the entirety of Black Senators and Congressmen had been boldly expelled. He asserted that the Black elected officials were not on trial, but God himself for the error of making them Black.  A stirring speech which I did my best to replicate.  I hope you will enjoy this rendering.

Again there are two cities mourning the loss of 18 souls as the nation surpasses the 550,000 mark of Americans lost to Covid-19.

And again the Domestic Terrorists are arrested, taken into custody and alive.  Why is it that European American Mass Shooters are treated with more Humanity than any unarmed African American???? Police you need to do better or get out the game.

We had no idea Friday March 13, 2020 that we would be off campus for over a year, or that we would look back and have lost 530,000 Americans.

This episode is a reflection of where we have been; physically, emotionally, for a calendar year.  Gods richest blessings upon you and your family in the coming year.
