A hearty Shipper City Welcome Back to Mia who brought us the chance to watch, comment on, and fall in love with one of her very first fandoms: The Outsiders. Listen to some talk about the softest of baby gays, Death. of the Author, and how Ralph Macchio and Patrick Swayze are on opposite sides of the Ageless Spectrum.

No fics this week, just lots and lots of movie recommendations and laughter as Grimey returns to kick off summer in Shipper City. We're talking about our favorite films, the soundtracks that shaped our personalities, and who is and isn't allowed to rip on Russell Crowe.

On this dreary-as-all-get-out day to record, Emily looks at fandom's own personal ray of sunshine, the sweetest of baby angels, Joaquin Torres from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. (Oh, did you think she was done talking about this show? She isn't. She never will be. Adjust accordingly.) Listen to her gush about all his wonderful qualities and witness a true miracle of his sweetness and light turning her terrible mood around in just a few short minutes.

It used to be you'd live through one major, horrific, generation-defining experience every 50-60 years or so. Lucky for us, our generation gets freshly defined by something new and horrible every 18-24 months whether we like it or not. But regardless of everything else that's happened, with the CDC's new lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, a lot of feelings are being churned up. It's time for one final look at the trope that cropped up a little over a year ago to help us deal with What Fresh Hell was delivered to us that day and say farewell to the Quarantine Fic.

Emily's had a rough few weeks, guys, so you'll be indulging her this week while she talks very briefly (as in, she COULD go on for another two hours if anyone wants to volunteer to be a guest and talk more about this in detail) about the new love of her fandom life: the love between Sarah Wilson and Bucky Barnes. Climb aboard the SS Fleur de Louve (thanks for the ship name, Mia!) and revel in a love so deep and pure that even the cast and crew are shipping it.

Another birthday party in Shipper City! This week Grimey is here and celebrating Mr. Captain America himself, Samuel Thomas Wilson. Sooo many spoilers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier so if you haven't watched it yet, you might want to wait to party with us. But for everyone else, kick back and listen to two hours of waxing poetic on our sexy, competent, kind Cap.
And this week we've got video! Click here to watch.

Oh to be a huge, immoveable ship stuck in a lovely canal. Fanfic once again has its thumb on the pulse of mankind with a quick dip in the canal and a look at the Ever Given shipping fiasco

Welcome back, Mia! This week Mia brought us a signature bake, a technical challenge and a show-stopper all rolled into one by assembling this gorgeous topic for us. Listen in as we discuss Soggy Bottoms, Hollywood Handshakes, and where we each were when Iain threw it in the bin.

Nia's back after so long to talk about a little-known, oft-overlooked slice of fandom: the playlist. Listen in as we talk about curating mixes for our favorite characters and ships, songs to write or read to, and sink into the idea of how much music brings to the fan space.

Grimey's here for a birthday party this time for everyone's second favorite Pisces, James Buchanan Barnes. Ol' Bucky Bear has come a long way since being named after (allegedly) the worst president in United States history and it's high time we celebrate that.
