As the federal election is set to be called for May and the budget is due to be released next week, Australian politics is heating up for 2025. 

Independent Senator Gerard Rennick has represented Queensland with outspoken views and strong stances on various issues. 

Senator Rennick told Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive, "If Peter wants my vote, he's going to have to hold true to the conservative values and not roll over to the left wing of the Liberal Party and the Labor and the Greens."
