After nearly 10 years of faithful service, my Microsoft Surface Pro has finally reached its limit. The battery now lasts about 15 minutes—if I’m lucky! Microsoft Copilot

Perplexity AI

ChatGPT

I gave each AI the exact same challenge.

I explained that I’m a professional content creator who records weekly shows, edits in Adobe Premiere Pro, works extensively with AI tools, records with Riverside, travels frequently, and needs a computer powerful enough to last for years.

The answers were fascinating.

Some recommendations were exactly what I expected…

Others completely surprised me.

Even more interesting, each AI used a different approach to arrive at its recommendation. Which one gave the best advice? Which one missed the mark? And did they all agree on the same computer?

The final conclusion surprised even me.
