One of the biggest differences between what a therapist does, and what I do, is help people adjust the meaning they have given something.
In therapy, they typically like to "dig" into what meaning you have given something and why (pretty pointless in my opinion) kind of like asking someone why they broke their leg, doesn't really matter, what matters is correcting it.
The 'MEANING' we give things, events, people, places, and experiences can either enhance or limit us. In this episode, I discuss how living a life with less attachment to meaning is the fastest route to freedom and a clear mind.
