David desires and WANTED to build a temple for God. This is a GOOD and noble thought.

But…

God

God said, NO.

God told David he’s not to build it, but his son Solomon will.

God gave the DETAILS of HOW to build it to David, but Solomon was the one to build it.

Do you take your wants, dreams and desires and GIVEN them to God?

Asking IF this is HIS purpose and plans for you?

If God is truly KING of your heart.

He REIGNS over ALL your plans, wants and desires because ultimately HE KNOWS BEST!

A peace and freedom will come when we REST everything over to Him, knowing He has our BEST at heart.
