Valve's Steam Deck is closing in on its 1st birthday and it's changed PC and handheld gaming, potentially, forever. Back when it was announced we said the 64GB version was pointless and we didn't purchase one at launch due to the fear of being forced beta testers for Valve. Judging by their past record with physical hardware we weren't even sure if it would be around for very long.
A year later, over 100 stable SteamOS updates, hundreds of verified games and support for drive swapping, have we changed our opinion? Were we wrong about the Steam Deck? We'd say so, since Andy may have ordered the very model he previously said was pointless.
