I'm still buzzing after this interview and I know that you will be once you've listened to it. 

So today I talked with Tim Bennington. He is the co founder of Manta Hair, and we discussed the story behind the creation of his flexible hairbrush which was inspired by his wife’s struggle with hair loss due to cancer. 

Tim also has a very successful background in building a network of 56 hair salons under the brand of Headmaster's. So he's no novice to business. 

Manta Hair launched in 2018. Early on, he was clear about the importance of awards to raising awareness and credibility and they won a TV programme which helped initially.

Now they have expanded into over 30 countries and are selling the product on multiple platforms and along the way he's patented the product and trademarked the brand in multiple countries

So there's lots of lessons to learn. We talk about the development side, the struggles and how he managed to overcome some of those to create the product in the first place. Some of the things he got right and things he got wrong, also then in terms of marketing and distribution.

 So lots and lots of great lessons that Tim shares, and particularly for anyone running a product based business or looking to bring a product to market, but actually you know, there's loads of great stuff in here for whatever kind of business you're running so let's go across to Tim, the rest of his story.
