Thank you Andy Paul for introducing me to our next guest, Ian Koniak who had the strength and courage to talk about his journey of addiction.   As a father of two young boys, Ian shares his journey throughout a tough upbringing with his father.  He and his brother were raised with a very hard-working mom who loved them dearly.  Ian shares how his father battled addiction, but his life choices and health deteriorated too late in life for him to fix the damage that was done. 

This is an episode that is beyond powerful and filled with so much transparency, humility, and vulnerability.  You will hear how Ian is striving hard to stop the habit of addiction that has gone through his generations of men, which he is very focused on fixing. 

Ian shares his thoughts for us dads to be patient!  He advises us to ask for help when we need it.....don't be too big as we all need help!!!  Lastly, Ian shares that we as dads must work to model the hard work we are expecting from our kids.
