Ice Box Podcast

Hi everyone! We're back after a week off for Thanksgiving bringing you yet another episode of the Ice Box Podcast! In this one we have a main segment talking about how the MLB lockout affects the baseball card market and also touch on college football with big news for both of our squads!

This episode is centered around the news of PSA regular coming soon! We discuss what cards you should be sending at that level + what cards we ARE sending at that level! Not to be missed is a little Lions Steelers banter as both of our squads squared off last week

The first listener Q&A episode didn't disappoint! The listeners brought the heat with the questions and we gave our takes on these hard questions and disagreed a good amount! Plus, we devote some time to catching you all up on the highlights of the Josh Luber article so you don't have to read all 53 pages!

In this episode, we talk about early standouts, both good and bad in the NBA. We break down their game + the card decisions you might want to be making to position yourself for success! Special attention is paid to Ja, Zion, and Luka so stay tuned!

This episode focuses primarily on auctions, discussing our thoughts on them in general before diving deep into our experience with the PWCC Monthly Auction. We also talk about the auction landscape in general + sneak in some talk about Select Tie Dye's and why they're cool.

In episode 3, we discuss the new NBA season. A lot of takes here that pertain not only to basketball itself, but also to our belief in where to be putting your money in the basketball card market! Lots of Lebron talk from @icy_ice_cards and Grizz + Hawks talk from @412_Sportscards. Enjoy!

In this episode, we talk a lot about Tom Brady. We discuss where we see value in terms of rookie cards, and also talk modern day inserts (including some ideas on how to make the downtown Brady's look better). We also make some comparisons to Mahomes and Lebron which hopefully are insightful!

Welcome to the Ice Box Podcast! In this episode, Robby and Matt break down what the Ice Box Podcast will be and give a brief history of their time in the Hobby! They reminisce about old products and eventually give brief takes about the upcoming NBA season.
