An outpouring of love on social media for pioneer manga creator Go Nagai, credited with creating the super robot mecha genre, follows the destruction of his museum following the recent earthquake in Japan.
Fans of Nagai have taken to social media to pay their respects after the Go Nagai Wonderland Museum in Ishikawa, Japan burned down in the aftermath of the Sea of Japan Earthquake. The earthquake struck on Jan. 1, 2024. Before and after posts from those in the area and following the TV coverage showcase that the building has largely burned down and will likely need to be demolished. Those images can be seen below, followed by the outpouring of solidarity with Nagai.
