ICP 41: Dr. Ron Weiss- Ethos Health and a multifaceted approach to patient care and connection

From a young age, Dr. Ron Weiss was encouraged by his parents to become a doctor. Later in life, it was an event involving his father and a bout of Pancreatic cancer that piqued Dr. Weiss’s curiosity about the healing power of plants. This, in part, lead to the development of his current brain child, Ethos Health. As I was digging into the background of Dr. Weiss, I saw little bits of myself in him and his story. He’s multifaceted, and we uncover interests in botany, piano performance and film. Dr. Weiss has never been afraid to pursue his interests or dreams, and that includes his acquisition of a working farm of over 300 acres in Long Valley, New Jersey. Listening to his story, one is able to connect the dots in a rather intuitive way that makes sense of where he is now and what he’s doing. The realization of the power of plants, the healing capabilities of the human body and the way he communicates and relates to his patients all stem from life events and experiences that make him who he is today.
