A year ago this week, Tova talked to James Acton, co-director of the Nuclear Policy Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C.

Amid wars in Europe and the Middle East, she wanted to assess the chances of a nuclear war breaking out and how it could start, play out and affect New Zealand.
