March 11, 2022 It's March Madness --What Is The Right Way?
Podcast book club is cancelled for today, but don't worry I wanted to get a little bit deep with my audience today and just talk about what I've been going through during this month of March and what I think is wrong, but accepting that other life decisions have to be made either way because either way life is not promised.
My great uncle Wilson passed March 5th, 2022 which was hard not only because we love him and it was TOTALLY unexpected because we knew he was diagnosed with diabetes, but he wasn't doing what he was supposed to. March 17th, 2021 his mother (my great grandma) passed away ate the age of 92 of natural causes. She was our world and the fact that uncle Wilson passed just a week earlier is sad.
Not to mention, uncle Wilson's father (my great grandfather) is also not doing to well. He's 95! What a life he has lived and as he continues to fight each and every day; I wanted to talk about the people that meant the most to me. The great thing is all three of them brung something different to the table so it makes it that much harder for me to think about them being gone.
My great grandfather could go at any minute now so, this is certainly March Madness for our family.

March 11, 2022 Marriage Secrecy, Death, Friendships With People Who Have Crap Phones
What's up you guys! If you're reading this or even listening then you have stumbled upon a double episode download.
In today's episode I will be discussing my personal marriage secrecy issue I had with my adored husband Anthony Logan Jr and how it also ties into having friendships or any kind of relation with someone who has a crappy phone. You ever know someone and they won't get rid of their phones because they "love their android." No? Yes? Well, I have and lets be honest it sucks! It makes you want to throw their crappy phones to the ground and just stomp on it. Okay maybe a little to far. BUT, make sure you listen all the way through to see how I handle talking on the phone with my best friend Summer Wynns and struggle to get a word out.
Death has been-- death is inevitable for all of us with the whole COVID-19 pandemic that has pulled so many people away from us in a time like this. Death is not over for my family just yet. My family lost a family member that served in the Vietnam war back in the 50s that lasted until the mid to late 70s. My great uncle Wilson was a man's man and very stern and stubborn for sure! He will be deeply missed and never forgotten as he has left his widowed wife Daria and their dog Darby behind. We thank you uncle Wilson for your time on this earth and serving our country to help provide so much than just a safer life for us all.

March 04, 2022 Growing up is Different For All Of Us; So, Why Are We Not More Kind
Welcome back to Idalis Asks and Answers where we are discussing Loni Love's book titled, "I Tried To Change So You Don't Have To:True Life Lessons". I am discussing chapters 2 &3 where Loni Talks about what life was like for her at age 7 and 8 and how a Jehovah Witness woman she named Mrs. Brooks came into her life "through the government" that was paying to babysit Loni.
Loni Love talks about the hardships of not. having her father around, but learning that her brother was her half-brother due to having different fathers and her brother Bruce's father showing up in a fake Santa costume bringing in gifts for his son who he though was "8 or9" was really 13 turning 14.
She even talks about her friends stealing from their parents, uncles, grandma's and so on. Guess what? Loni started to steal from her mama which she wound up confessing on herself and taking the consequences that came with it.

Hey guys! Sorry about the late upload today, but at least it is here! Make sure to purchase Loni Love's book; I Tried To Change So You Don't Have To: True Life Lessons. February 18, 2022 True Life Lessons Come After You've Thrived
Today I recorded this episode via laptop on a Chrome browser and I have to say I don't know why I haven't done it before. It beats recording off of my phone and having to place it on "Do Not Disturb".

Today Podcast Book Club has begun and I am super excited to bring it to the fore front with my listeners. Recently, Kaelin Edwards had posted a Twitter question about what books his fans/supporters are reading and I tagged @LoniLove and the title of her book she released back in 2020. Not only did he like the comment something even better happened. Loni herself retweeted my tweet about reading her book.
