I believe a tech sales job is the best career path to achieving financial freedom, let me show you the tech sales salaries and then talk about my ideal tech sales career path.
A recent comment asked my opinion on, “how to determine if it makes sense to reach the pinnacle of sales leadership (Manager/Director/VP) or as an individual contributor (Enterprise AE)”
I am more curious about sales mastery than people leadership mastery at this point. Becoming a great account executive will enable you to become a leader later on. I think the best leaders don’t want to be the leader, but rather the people elect the people they want to be the leader.
