Idelette McVicker grew up in South Africa during apartheid, and was in a church and community environment where racist thoughts were reinforced. In her interview with Brock, she shares how she learned to grapple with her own history with white supremacy, and move towards a a place of bringing marginalized voices to the center of her consciousness.
