“You can only fail because at no point in time is it your best. The closer you get to it, the more aware you become of how much better you could have done.” – Jarrod Haning
In today’s episode, we welcome back, Jarrod Haning. Jarrod discusses how it’s important for people to understand their own mindset in order to be able to lead others. He talks about common blind spots that people may have, and how understanding these blind spots can help us to overcome them. He discusses how stage fright can be a block in music performance and he overcame this block by recognizing and addressing the blind spot, which was “Do not touch the same task twice.” He says that whatever the reason is for why you can’t do something, it’s always the same reason.
[00:01 - 01:28] Opening Segment
[01:29 - 06:22] Identifying Your Personal Blindspot And Overcoming Them
[06:23 - 12:03] Closing Segment
Key Quotes:
“Confidence, clarity. And if you're an entrepreneur, you're probably going to double your income just because your brain is thinking at a higher level.” - Jarrod Haning
“They believe that action gets results. And so if you take more action, you will get more results. This is a blind spot, it's a blind spot because it makes sense that action gets results and the reason it's a blind spot is that the people that think that way cannot understand why there's always more on their to-do list than they have time to get done.” - Jarrod Haning
