Beauty standards aren’t universal — they change depending on culture, trends, and where you are in the world. When I lived in Japan, I saw firsthand how different the definition of beauty was compared to the U.S. That experience made me realize something important: most beauty standards are socially constructed.
So the real question becomes — what is your standard?
In this episode, I talk about the difference between society’s beauty standards and creating your own personal beauty standard — the one that actually makes you feel confident, magnetic, and aligned with your personal style.
Because while it’s completely normal to have “IDGAF” days, if your everyday baseline leaves you feeling like a 40 or 50 out of 100… it might be time to raise the standard for how you show up for yourself.
Think about the moments you’ve felt like a full 90–100/100 — when your makeup was hitting, your outfit felt perfect, and you couldn’t stop looking in the mirror. Those moments hold clues about what truly makes you feel confident and beautiful.
In this episode, I’ll walk you through how to break those moments down and turn them into your personal beauty standard — one that isn’t based on trends, social media, or what the world says is beautiful.
Beauty isn’t about chasing someone else’s ideal.
It’s about defining your own.
