In this episode we continue to explore the Inner Development Goals framework, looking at the final three dimensions - Relating, Collaborating and Acting.
We also discuss the application of the framework.
The Inner Development Goals framework (IDG framework) is designed to help guide the development of those essential skills and qualities needed to address the SDGs and accelerate progress towards a more sustainable future. The framework and supporting toolkit is open source and free to use.
3. Relating — Caring for Others and the World
Appreciating, caring for and feeling connected to others, such as neighbors, future generations or the biosphere, helps us create more just and sustainable systems and societies for everyone.
4. Collaborating — Social Skills
To make progress on shared concerns, we need to develop our abilities to include, hold space and communicate with stakeholders with different values, skills and competencies.
5. Acting — Enabling change
Qualities such as courage and optimism help us acquire true agency, break old patterns, generate original ideas and act with persistence in uncertain times.
