In this episode we will discuss Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and lung transplantation with Brad. Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a progressive lung disease with a poor prognosis. Lung transplantation is the only intervention shown to increase life expectancy for patients with IPF, but it is associated with disease-specific challenges. After hearing our episode covering this same topic, Brad requested an interview to explain the life saving option of having a lung transplant. We are happy to let him share his story this week.
