Dipping your toes: 1 or 2 starters per position
3 of each DL, LB, DB positions
“Real” 11 defense
Scoring Systems:
Basic
1 per tackle, .5 assist, 3 points for big plays (Sack/INT/FF)
Big Play
Similar tackle points, but with 6 points per big play or yardage added for interception/fumble returns/sack yardage

Interceptions, fumbles, and safeties worth 6 points each
Advice:
Putting league together - decide positions and scoring for defense first, look at your league points from last season to determine any switches you want to make (make DTs more valuable, TEs CBs etc)
Drafting/joining league - Look at scoring first
Build around top DE, Tier 1 LBs, Top safeties depending on scoring of course
Treat DTs/CBs like tight ends don’t overdraft, but if there is a value take it.
Also similar to tight end position see if there is a premium on the position.
