IDP Nation

Welcome to the Dynasty Football Network's IDP-centric show. Your talking heads Nick " Hail to the Redskins" Wagner and Joshua "@DFF_Cog" Johnson are here to help you circumnavigate through the murky IDP trenches, as well as make you a more well-rounded dynasty threat. Tighten your laces and get your mouthpiece fully in your mouth as the boys rattle your cage.

Sit or Start: Every Game here we go!

DEN @ IND: Shelby Harris is emerging... start him! Can Margus Hunt repeat his 7 tackle performance in the snow?

CHI @ DET: Christian Jones a victim of game flow only 10 snaps vs CIN in week 14? Quandre Diggs has surpassed Miles Killebrew on the depth chart. Ziggy Ansah and Eddie Goldman sit.

LAC @ KC: Melvin Ingram three sacks in the first meeting! That’s why I am starting Denzel Perryman! I also love Ron Parker. Benching Terrence Mitchell he 4 solos & an INT, back in week three 9 solos & 2 INTs vs the Chargers but Steven Nelson is back & healthy as well as Marcus Peters. Sit Chris Jones

ARI @ WAS: Deshazor Everrett is growing up! Benching Ryan Anderson, his uptick in production was game flow related. Pierre Olson is still rolling.

HOU @ JAX: DJ Reader to bounce back. He has 5 double digit efforts this season, two were against run heavy teams (Ravens & Jaguars). Benching Myles Jack he finally had another double digit game last week but he had looked lost for a about month prior despite seeing 100% of the Defensive snaps.

CIN @ MIN: Start Michael Johnson? Sit Linval Joseph because the Bengals running game is butt (3.5 yards per rush on the season). Clayton Fejedelem yes! Jordan Evans hell yeah!

BAL @ CLE: Joel Schobert & James Burgess all bleepin' day (and yes of course Kirksey too), sit Eric Weddle because old guys like him not need to play much in games like this.

You can't stop progress or Vonn Bell from bouncing back.[/caption]

NYJ @ NO: Darron Lee played good vs Denver after missing the KC game I would expect to really amp it up this week. Benching Jamal Adams will likely get exposed by Drew Brees. Also benching Manti Te’o despite his solid game vs ATL.

MIA @ BUF: Longshot Alert

Carl Nassib Time? -Andre Ellington & Mike Gillislee both healthy scratches are they droppable? -Saints lose Alex Okafor to a torn Achilles. Trey Hendrickson time? -Condolences to the Family of Terry Glenn.

What’s Wrong these Studs:

-Landon Collins - This my depend on format or scoring system. However has regressed from being dominant to just being great

-Morgan Burnett - the 28 year old just can’t stay healthy. On 50% snap share but a very solid 11% tackle percentage

-Carlos Dunlap - His 79% snap share leads all CIN DLs but it has taken a while to get going. He has 9 QB hits in the last 4 games (including 4 vs DEN in week 11) after having just 5 in the first 7 games.

-Danielle Hunter - His 79% snap share is also team leading for DLs. Clearly after his 12.5 sacks in 2016 (just 5 so far in 2017) he is a marked man and Everson Griffin has the beneficiary with 10 sacks in 9 games played.

-Ezekiel Ansah - Essentially a DE3 when healthy. He is 28 years old and he hasn’t been 100% for two seasons. He does have 4 sacks in 2017 but 3 of those came in one game way back in week 2.

-Avery Williamson - Snap percentage down from 85% in 2016 to 58% in 2017.

-Kwon Alexander - He missed at least four games do to injury + he hasn’t his normal dominant self.

[caption id="attachment_20896" align="aligncenter" width="660"] Edmunds could be best LB in the 2018 draft![/caption]

-Tremaine Edmunds ILB/OLB Virginia Tech: 6’5” 250 junior - 154 tackles in 25 games, 6 sacks and 23.5 total TFLs. Lines up all over the formation, smokin’ fast, complete and total freak.

-Josey Jewell LB Iowa: 6’2” 236 senior - Back to back 120 tackle seasons as soph & jr, already 68 tackles in 6 games this season. Solid instincts, range, awareness and play recognition. Note supreme athlete, runs a little stiff.

-Jerome Baker LB Ohio State: 6’1” 225 junior - 22 games 113 tackles 12.5 TFL. Perfect QB spy defender. Basically plays the Darren Lee speedbacker role for the Buckeyes especially in 2017. Will muscle up with big slot players. Very twitchy feet!

-Josh Sweat LB Florida State: 6’5” 250 junior - 27 career games 20 TFL, 10.5 sacks, 5 PD. Plays with hand in dirt a lot. Strong/quick hands, a little thin in the lower body.

-Vita Vea DL Washington: 6’ 5” 340 junior - 31 career games 11.5 TFL, 2 FF, 73 tackles. Surprisingly athletic considering his massive size. Would like to see more burst off the snap. Will wear down the opponent throughout the game. DFF Profile by @NFL_drafthub

-Derrick Nnadi DL Florida State: 6’ 1” 312 senior- 35 career games 19 tfl, 9 sacks, 3 FF, 133 total tackles. Excellent leg power and charge. He plays with wide base that creates strong leverage. DFF Profile by @DFF_WIN

[caption id="attachment_20899" align="aligncenter" width="650"] Landry has machete arms![/caption]

-Harold Landry DL Boston College: 6’ 3” 250 senior - 25 sack in 36 career games, 47 total TFL, 152 tackles & 10 FF. Explosive first step, a little bit of a tweener, very pro ready.

-Jordan Whitehead S PITT: 5’ 11” 195 junior - Nearly 200 tackles in 25 college games. An absolute sniper vs the run and has range to play both safety positions.

-Minkah Fitzpatrick DB Alabama: 6’ 1” 202 junior- 20 PD, 13 TFL, 9 INTs & 2 FF. Extremely versatile, incredible agility and a lateral ball hawk.

-Donnie Miles S North Carolina: 5’ 11” 210 senior - Currently out with an arm injury. Back-to-back 100 tackle seasons as a soph & Jr. Solid closing speed, needs some angle refinement.

-Dominick Sanders DB Georgia: 6’ 200 senior - Thirteen career INTs. Quality instincts, maybe a too aggressive at times. Likely a big play guy over a tackle hound.
