Sunday is quickly approaching and, if you’re anything like me, you are ready to see the Panthers back on the field. To be honest, the time since our Thursday night game hasn’t felt that long. But, we’re going to have to coming back with the same fight and passion. Playing the Ravens on Sunday, we really need to give it our all. The Ravens also had some rest given they had a bye week so we need to match and exceed their energy level.
On that same note, we’re going into this game with Baker starting. PJ suffered a high ankle sprain, which every QB on the team has suffered at BoA stadium. I’m not saying it’s the turf but it’s definitely coincidental thag we are having all these injuries. While I’m not really excited to see Baker, it is his real chance to prove himself. If we wants to keep the starting job while PJ is hurt, he needs to prove himself. My expectations are pretty low but my hope is high. There’s been a change in the team after CMC left. We see more passion, fire, and guys being utilized to make something happen. Will that continue this week? Only time will tell.
For the Hornets, we are officially tanking this season. This season has been incredibly hard to watch. LaMelo was out this season due to an injury in the preseason and… just as he came back, he injured his ankle again. There’s no way to tell when he will be back or what the team will look like. All I can say is this season, we haven’t been looking great. The best we can hope for now is a #1 draft pick and a generational talent to improve the team.
