    Uberjak’d

is at the forefront of the new wave of Australian club producers
impacting the global electronic scene, with freshly signed deals across
Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, Ministry of Sound Australia and Laidback Luke’s
Mixmash. In 2014 alone Uberjak’d has toured the US three times,
including tearing the roof off a sold out Webster Hall in New York and
playing both the Dim Mak and Mixmash pool parties at WMC. Having made
his debut at the legendary Tomorrowland in Belgium this year, then
headed back for a European tour including the closing party of Pacha in
Ibiza and also continuing to take his Uber-style brand of bounce to
Asia, Europe, South America and everywhere in between.

    Having
mixed Ministry of Sound’s flagship compilation The Annual 2014, Uber
has been also been delivering the freshest tunes to his loyal followers
via his monthly podcast – which regularly holds the #1 music podcast on
iTunes Australia, with a monthly audience of 150,000 – keeping company
on the chart above Tiesto, Hardwell, Triple J’s New Music Podcast, Armin
Van Buuren and Above & Beyond. Testament to his quick rise to the
top, Uber has stormed into the top ten in the inthemix awards
(Australia’s largest DJ poll) and was crowned the #1 DJ in South
Australia two years in a row.

     Having

been tapped to remix tracks for Example, Deorro, Fatboy Slim & Riva
Starr, TJR & VINAI and New World Sound, plus releases on the cream
of dance labels such as Dim Mak, Mixmash, Hussle, Hysteria, Island and
Neon, Uberjak’d has seen his tracks played by EDM luminaries Steve Aoki,
Hardwell,  David Guetta, Afrojack, Laidback Luke, Deorro, MAKJ,
Carnage, Nari & Milani, Borgore, Chuckie, Tristan Garner, Morgan
Page and Will Sparks to name a few. Uberjak’d is staring down a
jam-packed schedule over the next 12 months across Europe, America,
South America, Asia and Australia. Not that it fazes him. “Music
shouldn’t be taken too seriously,” says Uber. “And if it is, then you’re
    seriously doing something wrong.”

  • iEDM Radio Episode 71: J-Trick

Cutting through the masses of young electronic music producers like a knife through butter, J-Trick has quickly risen to the top with a consistent flow of quality productions, DJ sets and stage presence. Don’t take our word for it though, with a support base that includes Tiesto, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Zedd, Steve Aoki & Martin Garrix to name a few it is very apparent that this young gun has got the skills.

With a sound firmly planted in the realms of club driven Electro, J-Trick has already gained enormous success well beyond his years. Not many people can hold acclaim to having their track edited by the Worlds #1 DJ Hardwell, followed by a #1 overall Beatport ranking, however this is a reality for J-Trick. His first release on the Revealed records imprint was closely followed by a signing to Tiesto’s label Musical Freedom which again achieved great success on the charts hitting #2 on Beatport. A string of remixes & originals on labels such as Armada, Dim Mak & OWSLA closely followed, once again gaining support from the biggest names in the industry.

As if juggling tireless hours in the studio, holding down coveted residencies across Australia and touring the globe wasn’t enough, the motivated and driven youngster is the head honcho at Club Cartel Records. Dedicated to delivering only high quality releases since mid 2011, this label spearheaded by J-Trick has already received plenty of international support and has been the home ground for the likes of Deorro, Uberjak’d, Will Sparks, Reece Low and more. This is a testament to not only J-Trick’s skills as a producer but also his knack for knowing what makes a great record.

With his upcoming overseas tours and collaborations with some of the biggest names in dance music, its evident that this is just the beginning for J-Trick!

  • iEDM Radio Episode 70: Jay Karama

The Jay Karama experience is based on a foundation of 3 key elements:

Big tunes, saying goodbye to your dancing shoes and most importantly beer!

Back in his innocent, supple youth; Jay Karama discovered his love for electronic music following on from his lengthy guitar shredding metal kid stint. Beginning a rigorous schedule of producing Afrojack rip off demo’s on FL Studio, Jay was soon on his way to impressing more people than just his mum. The hard yakka paid off over the years for Jay, accumulating all kinds of glowing references for his EDM resume.

With a swagger of Beatport & ARIA chart success already in such a short amount of time, the trophy cabinet at mums is already starting to fill up fast and for good reason.

Now joining his mum on the Jay Karama support team are Hardwell, Deorro, TJR, Vinai, Martin Garrix, Henry Fong, Joel Fletcher, J-Trick, Reece Low, SCNDL, and a heap more.

Mighty originals ‘Disco’, ‘Skateboard’ & ‘Torment’ along with remixes for the likes of TJR, Reece Low, SCNDL, Tonite Only and more have paved the way for what has been a rather large (& drunk) 2015 so far.

The stage is set: Jay’s tunes are bigger than ever, there’s a fresh pair of dancing shoes to be ruined & the beer is chilled. First round on Jay!
