How can you say that there is always a light, when all I can see is the darkness inside

The poem "Somewhere in the Silence" is about a person who is crying but trying to hide their emotions by putting on a mask. They feel like they have to be strong and pretend that everything is okay, but deep down they know they are struggling. The poem concludes by saying that showing pain is a sign of courage and that it's okay to reach out for help.
