Okay, I love audio books a lot AND I'm noticing my love for them actually comes from a limiting belief that "I am a slow reader" and "I am not good at reading." So, here I am. Devoted to reading everyday instead of just listening on Audible. I finished two books in the last three weeks and I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!! Which brings us to this episode!

You've heard "if you don't use it, you lose it" in many examples. Think about it with muscles and playing an instrument.

Muscles need to be used if you want them to stick around, and music skills need to be practiced to keep them.

I was reading the book "Hunt, Gather, Parent" recently and there was a specific part that stood out to me about cultivating awe to help parents and children feel angry less often.

Then it hit me... if I don't spend more intentional time creating good feelings of joy, gratitude, awe, love and excitement, then it would make sense that I would lose the ease of creating them.

It makes sense why anger, frustration, irritability, shame and insecurity are so easy when we've been using them SO MUCH.

I am unpacking this shift with you in the hopes that by the end of this episode, you are clear on what you'd like to lose and how you can begin doing so.

Find the journaling course here if you'd like my help rewriting the story in your mind and increasing the ease of feeling GOOD!

Remember, God loves you and you are already forgiven. It's okay to give yourself a fresh perspective and chance at life.

With love, Tessa Romero
