I used to see "God-fearing" often referenced, especially in 2020 during heightened fear and stress in the world, and I'd wonder "why would you want to believe in a God you feel afraid of?"

Little did I know, that's a beautiful thing. Years later I'm here to share why "God-fearing" is a power word for me and what you can do to rise above the focus of man and the fears of the world.

Teaching regulation to my children feels incredibly difficult at times. It challenges me, stretches my patience and requires more attention than I knew I had to give.

AND, seeing them take deep breaths when they feel upset, guide their brother to breathe and start doing 20 burpees without me even asking- IS WELL WORTH IT.

There are times in life we hear one little line that changes the trajectory for us. I was attending a funeral while six months pregnant with my first son when one little line did that for me. I've been told "delayed obedience is disobedience" like it's a favorite line from a popular song since posting this reel.

It got me thinking about the rush and urgency parents put themselves and their children in. It's certainly a catchy line and I can confidently say it is not biblical.

This is a topic I have strong personal conviction and passion on and I'm sure you will feel that in this episode.
