Sophie Blue is all about food, health, being primarily plant-based, going on adventures, and enjoying the outdoors.
She founded Monkey Bar, a project that combined her love of hiking and food, in DC. The pandemic caused her to close it down, despite its massive success in its 3-year life. She and her husband shifted lanes and moved to Miami for three years. Now they've landed in Silverton, Colorado, and are looking to open a community space to sell bread and other foodie bites.
The theme has always been there: combining her love of health, food, hiking/skiing/outdoor activities, and sharing it with those around her. An inspiration to me – she follows her heart with a smile!
Her big lesson to us all: just do it, just try it. Take fear by the hand and give it a go. What's the worst that can happen?!
