  1. Do you want to be together? If the personality/culture of the firm isn't suited to yours, it's never going to work.
  • What do you want to create with this company? If they aren't going in the direction you want to go, or can't commit the resources to initiatives, it's splitsville.
  • What do you want to explore with them? How can you impact the industry together?
  • How can you help them expand? Just like love, it's a two way street.
