Documentairemaker Margot de Nooijer vertrouwt de tegenstrijdige reisadviezen van het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken niet en besluit om zelf op onderzoek te gaan in het 'levensgevaarlijke' Tunesië.Voorde risicobewuste vakantieganger lijkt de wereld steeds ontoegankelijker. Overal vinden aanslagen plaats en dus wordt het steeds moeilijker een veilige bestemming te vinden. Als bakens zijn er de reisadviezen van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken dat naar eigen zeggen '24 uur per dag in de gaten houdt of het voor Nederlanders veilig is om naar het buitenland te reizen'. Maar de adviezen laten een eigenaardig beeld zien: Europese landen,waaronder Frankrijk en Groot-Brittannië, krijgen nog altijd codegroen (= geen bijzondere veiligheidsrisico's), terwijl er de laatste jaren meerdere aanslagen zijn gepleegd en vele doden vielen.Intussen krijgt een land als Tunesië een negatief reisadvies (code oranje rood = niet of alleen noodzakelijke reizen), terwijl hier sinds 2015 geen aanslagen meer zijn gepleegd en minder slachtoffers vielen.Radiomaker Margot de Nooijer besloot om uit te zoeken hoe het zit, en reisde af naar Tunesië, tegen het advies van het Ministerie in. Daar ontdekt ze dat een negatief reisadvies niet alleen de lokale economie treft,maar via een omweg ook grote gevolgen kan hebben voor Europa. - Drie jaar na MH17: Het lijkt wel of zijn leven moest bestaan uit grote verhalen.
