Mike was introduced to floating by his fiancée, but was skeptical until he tried it for himself. Says Mike: "It let me know what real relaxation was. When you're in that space there is no other option, you just become relaxed. That addictive in and of itself to be able to calm down that much."

    Mike is a Mechanical Engineer at GE by day, and by night is a jiu jitsu practitioner and an instructor at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in Hartford. After taking the Intro class he realized that before the class he was seeing the world in 2D, and after the class he could see the third dimension.
