Why do we experience pain? Can a Christian struggle with depression and anxiety?

Many times it seems like the enemy has us surrounded, our prayers aren't being heard, and we feel discouraged. The truth is there are more fighting for us than against us, and our prayers are heard the very second they are spoke into existence. In this message series Pastor Jason reminds us of the spiritual war that is going on for our souls and the souls of those we love. Our prayer for this series is that our eyes would be open to see how much God is fighting for us, and that He is our Defender.

We all have neighbors, but most of us just live beside them. Instead, we are called to do life with them, bringing the hope of Jesus in our neighborhoods. How to neighbor is helping us to remember that we are ministers right where we are, and the people that need the hope of the gospel most may be right beside us.

Jesus has won the victory, It Is Finished. That means our pain, our sin, and our brokenness was paid in full on the cross. The work that Jesus came to fulfill was made complete and because of that work we have freedom, we have life.
