• Candice Phibbs and Rick Allwright run Mile East Productions, an event company based in Yarmouth Nova Scotia that is – at least for now – the ultimate side hustle. 
• Mile East, creates and run their own events, organize and conduct national events that happen in the area and do wedding planning.

• Led by Phillip Nickerson, Aqua Production Systems or APS designs and builds innovative tank systems for the seafood industry. These tanks are used for live lobster holding facilities, oyster holding facilities and fin fish hatcheries, and smaller versions are used to transport that product to market. APS designs tanks for 100 pounds of lobster and for a million pounds of lobster.

As a single mother Ingrid d'Eon was working multiple jobs and struggling to make ends meet. With a degree in journalism, she finally convinced a marketing company to allow her to work remotely from her home, and it was with them that she discovered her love for Social Media. She started Word-Craft in 2019 with two national clients. Since then she has grown the company to be a National leader in Organic Social Media. Ingrid shares her inspiring story with Wade Cleveland, and talks about her pride in doing it all while being based in Rural Nova Scotia.

James and Candy MacDonald run Green Oil Solutions, a New Glasgow based company with some innovative and environmentally friendly technology. They developed a solution to clean stored diesel fuel, furnace oil and lubricating oils that became contaminated and would normally be disposed of.   Realizing there was a problem with boats pumping contaminated water into the oceans and waterways, they developed a filtration system that can purify that water before it is pumped out. James and Candy tell the story of those innovations, overcoming business challenges, and how Ignite helped them through their early days.
