Do you have products from the past that you are embarrassed about? Don't be. They are the stone in the process of what you're building. You need to enjoy the process. It often takes multiple iterations before you develop the thing that puts you on the map for impact, influence and income.

Sooner or later you're going to launch something — a course, a book, a program, etc. So what do you do differently on launch day? Take a look inside my most recent launch day. I do absolutely nothing differently. Why? Because true champions play like they practice. There is no distinction between game day and any other day.

Have you ever been on the receiving end of an online bashing? What do you do? You take note of how you speak to other people when you are speaking and you keep doing and creating good.

My son's state of wonder when I gave him my old Apple watch reminds me how important it is that we stay in a state of wonder. Wonder creates gratitude. And often when we get familiar with something, we lose our wonder with it and thus our gratitude. Don't lose the wonder in your life.

Have you ever had an experience where a casual conversation turns fiery? When that happens, we can get defensive and retaliate or we can become unattached to the outcome and remain centered. Give them space to vent.

A lesson learned from my recent TV buying experience. When it turned out the TV was defective, I was told it would take them two weeks to pick it up and deliver a new one or I could bring it back myself. The lesson for entrepreneurs: most people can deliver the same products and generally the same content. But it is in your customer service that we differentiate ourselves. Are you creating "wow" experiences for your customers?

Be careful what you post. Just yesterday, I saw two different posts that I think are hurting people's businesses. Before you post something, ask yourself if it screams success. People are attracted to others who have what they want.

Instead of chasing, try just being. Many of us are in a state of always wanting, anticipating and looking. We're chasing after something. But that often is unattractive. Instead, focus on being content, satisfied and enjoy the moment. It will make you more attractive to your audience.

When we're at the beginning of a dream or a goal, we often question whether we're worthy of that dream. It's okay to ask, but don't stop there. Shift it and ask if that dream or goal is worthy of you. Is that investment worth your time?

One question I always ask at the beginning of every mastermind session with my business partner David is "What does success look like when this meeting ends?" We don't end the meeting until we've gone through all those agenda items. Why? Because if you don't frame your meetings, you'll get lost. Having a success agenda also provides a sense of accomplishment as you're making progress.
