You know, it's always exciting to be in New Year to celebrate with friends and families and loved ones, you know, and just to see the; the excitement in, in the air.

Excellence in college goes beyond skill. It stretches into other metrics including attitude, ability to network and consistency. Mr Igho sheds light on several important hacks to help students excel in college.

This episode featured Anmol Gupta, an international student studying in Ukraine and soon-to-be surgeon. He left his home country, India, to Ukraine in 2014 in pursuit of his dream to study medicine and become a surgeon.

Anmol has had to leave Ukraine and is currently in Hungary, due to the ongoing conflict. He has however not allowed himself be deterred by prevailing circumstances. He is currently a volunteer for humanitarian efforts in Hungary, aimed at helping millions of fleeing refugees settle in and find a new home.

Having very recently received recognition by CNN via an interview for his tireless humanitarian efforts, his story is an inspiration to many.

This episodes opens with the March for our lives event in the US in support of Gun control measures, the PVC revolution in Nigeria, the war in Ukraine and finally the importance of making the right connections in college.

Ayomide Akande was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Currently she is a first year (almost second year!) PhD student at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver.

Muthoni Musangali is an Associate Professor in the Counseling Department at Webster University. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida. She holds a MA in Counseling from Heidelberg College and a B.Ed. (Arts) from Kenyatta University, Kenya. She talks about the war in Ukraine, the difficulties women and girls face, biases in society, her works and her journey from an International Student to being a Professor!

Nnamdi shares experiences he has found fascinating as an international student in Germany and gives tips to prospective students.
