Another year has passed, and the huangpi fruits in my hometown are ripe again. In July, the 30-acre orchard reaches its peak season, with huangpi fruit trees laden with fruit that hang like little yellow lanterns. This is the perfect time to pick and enjoy huangpi fruits.

The orchard's farmers carefully cultivate the huangpi trees organically, using eco-friendly organic fertilizers to ensure each fruit receives ample nutrients. Every summer, the trees are bountiful with round, plump huangpi fruits that are easy to pick.

People arround the locality, take advantage of the weekend and come to the farm to savor the sweet and sour taste of this summer special fruit.

Next to my mom’s vegetable garden at the Farm, there is a lush forest of naturally grown bamboo. Every summer, the soil covers these bamboo shoots, especially after the rain, when clusters of them emerge, bringing a sense of joy just by looking at them.

Walking into the bamboo forest, once you see the bamboo shoot tips, gently loosen the soil along the edges. Be careful not to harm the small bamboo shoots and roots while cutting the connection between the bamboo roots and shoots. This helps keep the shoots tender and fresh.

Finally, cover the area with soil again to allow the bamboo roots to regenerate new shoots. The bamboo forest is pesticide-free and free from pest pollution, so there's no need to worry about health risks.

The shoots can be eaten raw after peeling, with no sour or astringent taste. You can also wash and stir-fry the fresh bamboo shoots or make "Xiandu" soup. They taste crisp and naturally sweet.

Hurry and enjoy this short-lived "delicacy from the bamboo forest"!

在我妈妈农场的菜园旁边，有一片茂密的自然生长的竹林。每年夏天，这些竹笋都会被泥土覆盖，尤其是雨后，竹笋一簇簇地冒出来，光是看着就有一种欣喜的感觉。

走进竹林，看到竹笋尖后，轻轻地松动边缘的泥土。切断竹根与竹笋的连接时，注意不要伤及小竹笋和根部。这有助于保持芽嫩和新鲜。

最后，再次用土覆盖该区域，让竹根再生新芽。竹林无农药、无病虫害污染，无需担心健康风险。

笋去皮后可生吃，无酸涩味。也可将鲜笋洗净炒食或做“仙都”汤。它们味道清脆，自然甜。

Summer in our farm is synonymous with the sweet, juicy taste of lychees. These delicate fruits, hanging in abundance from trees scattered across the countryside, are a quintessential part of the region's summer experience.

My childhood memories in summer are climbing trees to pick lychees with my elder brothers and sisters. Lychee trees full of fruits are scattered in every corner of the farm.

While lychees are in season, why not go to a farms and experience picking them and enjoy the seasonal delight?

This month ushered in a big harvest on the farm. Sweet and sour tomatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, soft and glutinous honey pumpkins...

Hope to make a good collection of some fresh vegetables. Sharing the joy of harvest with everyone is really very satisfying.

My obsession with organic farming & vegetables, leads me to - returning to my hometown to farm. I'm very happy with my current life, completely satisfied.

This is my second video/post on [3 Speak/Hive], and I will try to keep sharing my farming journey with everyone. I actually filmed this video few weeks ago, and now I got some time & completed the editing and posted it.

Collection of hand picking fruits from our own farm | Picking all kinds of fruits, super happy~ | The orchard of our farm has seasonal fruits all year round, including jujubes from February to March, mulberries from March to April, and guavas in April. Jiabao fruit, bayberry in May and yellow peel fruit and lychee in the following. The joy of picking fresh fruits every month and eating them is really the biggest motivation for a farmer to work every day.
